Take care and keep laughing!
I think a delayed reaction is quite normal, but the Ben & Jerry’s will continue to help:) My bathroom renovation began this morning, and so it’s all go here…..enjoy the day…and rest. janet. xx

That’s exciting news, notwithstanding the chaos that inevitably accompanies renovation. The new window blind I bought has stopped working. A great bore but my lovely handyman is coming to sort it out shortly. Keep smiling through the chaos! x

Oh dear – but my understanding, like Janet’s, is that some discomfort is normal for a few days after such major surgery. I hope you will phone dentist promptly if you think there are complications. Thank heavens for all forms of solace.

I will, I will! Saved taxi money by getting a lift from Sasha to and from and was able to give her money – a good feeling. x

There is something very sexy about these old ‘innocent’ photos, at least to me.
The amount of effort required to prise out a wisdom tooth will leave you sore and bruised for some time after. They should have warned you about that. Ice cream (and Cognac?) seems like a winning combination to ease your pain.
Best wishes, Pete. x

They did warn me and I expected huge pain and bruising but it’s minimal. As I’ve said to Mary, I’m going for the Armagnac! x

I’ve never (yet, fingers crossed!) had one of them removed, but I also imagine it must be uncomfortable once the numbness goes, but do not hesitate to contact them if something is amiss. Love the cover. 🙂

I promise. It’s more of a general malaise than tooth-related. I think it’s the effect of the last few months and the endless hospital trips and new diagnoses. It’s the sudden realisation of all that’s wrong (oh, yes, there’s more that I haven’t yet revealed!). So glad you like the cover.

I was on painkillers for over a week when I had mine out. Ice cream will help – and whisky. Or cognac as Pete suggested.

Heavens, that sounds like a very nasty extraction to entail a week of painkillers. You poor thing. I’ll go for the Armagnac, I think!

Beautiful and practical – nice work, Puff. What I need is a bomb proof phone cover. My screen is so shattered, it looks like a frosted spider’s web. Charming but highly impractical 😂

Gorgeous image. 😀 … don’t be shy about taking painkillers, eh? 😀

Don’t you worry about that! There is one part of me that wants to avoid pills because I take so many every day anyway but if I’m in pain that impinges, I don’t hold back because it comes on top of all my daily pain that I subsume anyway. Am I making sense?!

Ah yes, Ben & Jerry’s Cookie Dough. If it were available in our area, it would definitely be my go-to for all kinds of things. 😉
I hope the pain has eased up…?

Ha! No more pain but exhaustion is rampant, which I assume is a reaction to the local injections. In fact, I’m now going to nap on the sofa for lunch!
