I used a selection of public domain images of the paintings of Gerda Wegener that are available on Wikimedia, starting with En sommerdag (1927) for my base layer.
My intention was a collage in the style of my Medicinal Collage design but the creative journey led me in another direction influenced unconsciously by some of Gerda’s contemporaries in Europe such as Georges Braque and Pablo Picasso.

Take care and keep laughing!
That’s impressive, Sarah.
Very striking as a framed print.
Best wishes, Pete.

Fantastic. I’m very partial to the bag, but I agree with Pete on the framed print. Love the colours. Take care, Sarah.

Excellent use of the work of one of my favourite artists of that era. 😀
