Mary, this is the new version in the hope it goes with my sofa and with your living room. (Yes, I remember your comment!) I’ve ordered one and will keep you (and everyone else, probably) posted!

It’s slightly different from the previous in order to match the sofas better. Very glad you think it’s classy. Thanks, Olga!

I look forward to hearing how it looks – and if you think it will be okay with my green walls and cream sofas. I know it will look fine on the sofa – not quite sure about having to repaint the living room. It does look lovely and elegant.

I hope I’ll be able to say with confidence that it will look gorgeous in your living room and that you won’t have to repaint – that would be such a bore! Thanks, Mary.

An irresistible combination of two beautiful concepts: “Georgian” and “eau de nil”. You have the knack of delighting! xx

Oh, but you gladden a girl’s heart, Pip ‘ol chap. Meant to email but have had a lot to deal with health-wise. When you have a moment, do email and let me know how things are. Think of you in the new house often. xx

One word for this, Sarah. ‘Class’. You can’t buy the knack, you just have to know what it is. Sumptuous Regency style, deliciously understated.
Best wishes, Pete.

And a word I love (unless it’s used pejoratively). Thank you so much! x
