Having reblogged Picture Book of Animals from 2013 the other day, I seem to have created a lot of confusion about me and my cataract operation! It was supposed to happen in April of that year but the hospital ballsed it up and the saga continues. I have to go through the whole process again, starting in September with a new eye examination.

I’m amused you think so, Cindy!

I suspect if that unfortunate looking fellow were to stop poking himself in the eye he may not need the eye salve in the first place ? 😀 He really is very spooky Sarah 😦

Yes, that would solve his problem! I’m not surprised you find it spooky, though!

You are welcome. Do you see mine when I post? I write a lot and on subjects I normally get comments on with social media and I have yet to get a comment and I have done everything to increase visibility and I have been told my setting are right. Then if I go onto let’s say fb and write almost the same post I get comments.

There’s no accounting for taste, I guess. It’s taken a good four years for me to build up a following on WP and for people to start commenting. As for FB, I’m the opposite to you. Very few people follow or like or comment!

Hmmm, I can see now where the inspiration for that movie “Chuckie” came from! 🙂

Its more than irritating that the hospital stuffed the operation thing. You have my sympathy. AS always the period illustrations are full of character, and Joanne is right. It does remind me of Chuckie

Thank you, Peter. I’m just trying to imagine what my art will be like when I can see with both eyes!

LOVE this as a greeting card. That is one crazy smile.
Sorry to hear that 2013 cataract operation didn’t work out and that you have to go through the whole process again in the fall. 😦

Much thanks, Silver Screenings (do you have a name?). As for the operation, it’s the story of my life!

This reminds me of a note I read on a punch that Bristolians were fond of back in the 18th century. It was so sweet it stuck their lips together so their wives had to wash the mens’ mouths with warm water so they could speak. Oh, the temptation not to!
