“Tell you what we’ll do,” she said. “We’ll drive to town and get some pickles, and some bread, and we’ll eat the pickles in the car, and then we’ll go to the station and get Daddy, and then we’ll bring Daddy home and make him take us for a ride in the boat. You’ll have to help him carry the sails down. O.K.?”

I love this image and Salinger’s words…..
The image has a gentle timelessness to it….

I love the rusty texture used here. I have been playing around with layered textures like this recently and have been surprised at how week they work.

Good heavens, Sarah, it looks so real. The textures are so rich they’re nearly tangible–and that’s seeing from the other side of a computer screen! I’d love to see your work up close and personal. No doubt I’d be lost for a deliciously great length of time.

Sarah has shared digital art
In your own words – “I love the sea and everything that pertains. This is a digital art piece I created recently, Beached Dinghy, which gives me an immense feeling of peace.”
Thanks for sharing Sarah 🙂
