  1. I am not familiar with this artist, as 16th century painting is something I know little about. I was taken with the intimacy of the portraits though.
    The Royal Academy has staged some memorable exhibitions in the past, and I was fortunate to have attended many of them, when I lived in London.

    1. I do apologise for missing this comment before. It’s sad that it takes such time, effort and money to get down to London. It’s going to be the same on the Isle of Wight which is why I’m trying to catch up with things now. Going to Brighton at the weekend. x
