Good morning, Sarah.
Having grown up in Kent, the white cliffs of Dover mean a great deal to me….as does this poem. Matthew Arnold captures so well the atmosphere of the Dover I knew as a child, before Channel tunnels, hovercrafts, etc. etc.
I love the design….very poignant.
Hope you have a lovely weekend. and that your machine continues to do a good job:)
Keep smiling. Janet. x

What a coincidence! The original photograph could be anywhere but Arnold’s poem was the only one that matched it, for me. Computer working but body not so much! I hope you have a delightful weekend too. Happy Mother’s Day!

I agree with Janet that it the image fits in perfectly with the poem. I’m still in Spain where mother’s and father’s days are different (Mother’s day is the first Sunday of May, father’s is the 19th of March, St Joseph). Happy Mother’s day my ladies.

Love this! Both the image and the poem are great on their own, but together they make something really special.
