WordPress Theme Change — Will it work?

I’ve been looking through the free themes provided by WordPress and have decided to experiment. It could all go horribly wrong as it did a long time ago when I tried another theme — it was far from a seamless process. I gave up trying to make the other theme work for my content and went back to Tarski.

I have chosen the Cubic Theme, as above, with which to experiment. If it doesn’t work for me in practice, I’ll be hot-footing it back to Tarski … this is the part that is likely to go ‘horribly wrong’ if my previous experience is anything to go by.

You have been warned!

Take care and keep laughing!

    1. Yes, it is! I was getting fed up with the limitations of Tarski after a decade so that as well as changing to Cubic, I’ve gone for the cheapest upgrade to give me just that bit more control.

  1. I haven’t changed my theme in a long while now. I have only changed once from the original in eight years. It takes time for the blogger and their readers to get used to, then it starts to feel ‘normal’ again.
    Best wishes, Pete. x

  2. Looking good so far,fingers/toes/eyes crossed. I ‘m love’em, leave’em lady when it comes to theme loyalty. I just have to jump around, that is why I break things. I like there’s so much white space tho I tend to find a way to always fill mine up. ♥️
