  1. A nicely illustrated tale of an excellent trip back in time on the island of Crete. When I visited Knossos, it was unbearably hot (40+ degrees) and I recall how much cooler it felt inside the rooms.

      1. Hi Sarah! Yes, my relatives are from Heraklion. My papaou grew up there. My yiayia was actually from Ishmar but came to Crete as a young child. I adored Crete! We went to the other usual spots in Greece as well. Fortunately my mom was with us and she speaks fluently.
