I love this one, Sarah. The details in the pavement, the woman’s expression. It’s lovely. Huge hugs. 🙂

I keep discovering all manner of artists I’ve never heard of! Regarding your post and whether or not they really walked on the moon, you might enjoy what I have to say in this post: https://firstnightdesign.wordpress.com/2016/03/16/first-night-design-covermakeover-week-3-moon/. Hugs galore. xx

The lady has a sense of determination in her step, and I sense she is in a hurry. I became a bit fixated on the pavement, and whether or not she was going to trip on the kerb! That must be a compliment to the artist, someone I had never heard of.
Best wishes, Pete. x

Me again, saying the same thing about you but on a different post. I love the way your eye and sensibility interact with things that come to your attention. You bring a new perspective to anything you write about. Have a lovely weekend 🙂

Wow what an amazing set of pictures capturing completely the time of that moment. I particularly like the black and white ink wash of the two ladies and the flower girl but really there isnt one that doesnt grab you.

I’ve never heard of this artist yet some of his work is stunning. Very Edwardian. Thanks so much Sarah.

Beautiful paintings, he’s very talented. The one above reminds me of Renoir, whose work I love. My favourite is The Umbrellas.

Ah yes, that’s the one. I knew it reminded me of a Renoir but I couldn’t think which!
