    Of all the beautiful birds that we are lucky enough to find in our gardens, it is the Robin that is most associated with Christmas for most of us. A fierce little chap in reality, I have seen a robin see off a flock of pigeons who have descended in droves when putting out bird seed in the winter and yet our particular regular would peck happily side by side with the one or two doves who visited from a nearby coop.
