You are currently browsing the tag archive for the ‘thrifting’ tag.

I recently discovered the blog Gustav and Gayle.  Violet Hoarder, as she is known on Pinterest, is an extremely creative lady who is passionate about “Gustavian style–the French lines and the Swedish reserve; the light, cloud-colored palette; the subtle sheen; the simple elegance”.  She also adores thrifting.

It was this last that saw her buying an old hatbox and transforming it with this charming image from The Graphics Fairy.

The result, I think, is enchanting.  Do have a look and, if you comment, please mention First Night Design as the source.  Thank you.

Take care and keep  laughing.
