So sorry, Sarah. I was hoping you were feeling much better. That’s the frustrating thing about recovery….two steps forward, one step back. Slowly but surely you’ll feel better.

Sorry to hear about your illness, Sarah (I knew you had been unwell but not the full details). I hope you keep getting stronger now that you are home. Congratulations on your sale. Thinking of you.

Thanks, Olga. The first week and a half at home, I felt so bad that I wished I was back in the hospital. Now that I’m stronger, it is brilliant to be home!

I’m happy to hear, that you are back home again after such challenges, Sarah. It is easy to catch other illnesses, while we are in the hospital, I did too.
Great post and congratulations with your sale 🙂 Take care.

And who did I think of as the paramedics lifted me into the ambulance? In spite of my very weak state and a constant feeling of being about to faint, I thought of you! Thanks, Irene. x

Good to know, that you are on the right way back again, Sarah. It isn’t much fun to get more ill in there.

You’re right there and no mistake. They’d also cut my reflux medication in half for reasons too boring to go into and that made recovery at home impossible. I bumped it up again and told the gastro doctor they were never going to make me accept a reduced dose! xx

Thank you so much, Peter. Yes, there are always those risks. I’d never have known I had pneumonia. I was so surprised when they told me. I’d always thought it was like flu but not in the slightest!

I always thought hospitals were silly places for pregnant women to have to go for check-ups and to have their babies but your experience shows that even sick people risk getting sicker in them. Still, I suppose it’s better to get sick in hospital than at home. I’m glad you’re on the mend now and I hope you get back to normal again soon.

Much thanks, Sarah. Quite. Once it was MRSA but pneumonia seems to have caught up rapidly!

I knew someone who contracted MRSA in hospital and had to spend the rest of her life on crutches. It’s a scary bug. Pneumonia can be deadly but at least if you recover you haven’t lost any bits of your anatomy.

Good morning, Janet! I’m doing well and Sunday was a joy. I put your pressie in a prominent position even though I’ve not yet framed it but sadly the crew moved it away before starting to film! xx
