  1. Try, try, try as I might and using all my fingers I could not find 10 sites where Jane stayed unless you count the first floor and the second floor and both visits to No 10 .lol

    1. Just think if we’d known this quote before we wouldn’t have spent decades feeling guilty! I have a blackboard in a prominent place in the kitchen quoting Rose Macaulay: ‘A house unkept cannot be so distressing as a life unlived.’
