Wow, these photos are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing! I love black and white photography done well, and these pictures are so clear! I love the one of the man outside the bookshop, and of the kids with the pram coming down the street. Wonderful pictures 🙂

As you might expect, I lapped these up. It never fails to amaze me how little things had changed by the late 1950s, when I was running around similar London streets. More traffic by then perhaps, otherwise, remarkably familiar.

I loved these, ( of course ) and can’t help feeling people of that era managed to get more out of less if you follow. I am addicted to vintage photography and the sense of life they convey
