  1. Lee Miller, Man Ray, Robert Capa, and many others; a great period in the history of photography. Miller married an English artist after the war, and died as Lady Penrose, in England.

  2. You can visit the farmhouse she lived in with Penrose. Their son used to give tours and was generous in his reminiscences about Picasso and other visitors. I think he confessed to becoming over excited as a child in a bull fighting game and he bit Picasso. P bit him back, I seem to recall!
