The Real England is a concise, direct, and not-so-gentle window into the depths of the leftovers of the world’s once greatest empire. It is told from the perspective of one lone (or not so lone) long term visitor. It informs one of the dregs of the country and helps to explain quaint British oddities such as the crack addicted chav.
First Night Design 
Always good to see what others like. I found two oversights in The Book Thief that the editor missed. Here’s one: the boy (sorry I forget his name) says to Leisel, “You’re in for it.” As soon as I read that, I knew no German child would say that. I turned to the back to check where the author was from because that’s what children said in Australia. Still a good read though.

I need to try The Book Thief again as I couldn’t get into it last time. As for the oversight, I do think such a mistakes are getting more prevalent.
