Dear Sarah,
Tempus fugit, I had been meaning to send you Season’s Greetings weeks ago but, alas, illness, vacant memory, and wanton stupidity prevented me doing so until today, but, for me, Christmas absolutely does not end until twelfth night I shall do so now. 🙂 HOPING YOU HAVE HAD A LOVELY HAPPY CHRISTMAS (SO FAR) AND WISHING YOU A RADIANTLY WONDROUS & MERRY NEW YEAR IN WHICH RECENT SADNESSES WILL MELT LIKE SNOW UNDER HEAT (THO’ I LIKE A SNOWY CHRISTMAS AS LONG AS IT HAS NO SLIPPY ICE!) AND THAT YOU WILL BE WARMED WITHIN BY MUCH JOY. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015!

Sadnesses have melted simply by reading your words, George. However, I am still reduced to a loaned Windows computer and waiting with baited breath for my new MacBook! I hope you too had a wonderful Christmas and New Year and I wish you all good things for 2015.
