A friend of mine from drama school, after witnessing another friend get one acting job after another without apparent joy, said, “I hope, however successful I might become, that I never get blasé about getting work.” I agreed wholeheartedly.
I also hope I never get blasé about selling my art. Today I sold two of these postcards to a French customer and, as ever, my heart gave a little hop and a skip when I saw the notification.
Take care and keep laughing!

I love the card, and I agree with you 100% – selling our work should never become ho hum! When I sell something, I am always elated. Have a lovely day. Janet:)

Thanks, Janet! The commission’s not great but the elation is the same as if it were. Happy Tuesday.

Amen! It’s still a joy to me when I sell an artwork and I can’t imagine it any other way.

Well done on the sales, and your art certainly deserves the recognition, As you know, I pop over quite often and, among other things, am often struck by your sense of colour
