Whilst the design by Sarah Vernon on First Night Design is as always terrific – the information regarding the plight of the Bengal Tiger is also compelling… as with the Rhino and far too many of our natural cohabitants of the world, they are in danger of disappearing for ever.

I watched a programme yesterday about the speed with which man is deforesting the planet and the commentator said, “The earth while always survive, but if we continue as we are going, we will make ourselves extinct, and within a couple of million years ( nothing in spatial terms ) the planet will have regenerated all the forests, fossil fuels and produced new species, but mankind will not be here to witness it
